1、 Introduction to fiberglass pipes
Fiberglass reinforced plastic pipes are lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant non-metallic pipes. The glass fiber with resin base weight is wound on the rotating core mold layer by layer according to the process requirements, and the quartz sand is evenly laid between the fibers as the sand layer. Its pipe wall structure is reasonable and advanced, which can fully utilize the role of materials, improve the rigidity while meeting the requirements of service strength, and ensure the stability and reliability of the product.
2、 Features of fiberglass pipeline products
1. Good corrosion resistance and long service life
Fiberglass reinforced plastic pipes can resist long-term erosion by various acids, alkalis, salts, organic solvents, as well as chemical media such as seawater and sewage. Pipes with different performance can be selected based on different media types and usage temperatures.
2. Excellent mechanical properties
GRP pipes have small specific gravity (1.8~2.1g/cm3) and high strength (≥ 300MPa), and their specific strength is far greater than that of steel pipes and Cast iron pipe. Because resin mortar is added in the middle layer of the pipe wall, the rigidity of the pipes is greatly improved, and they are suitable for laying in various soil environments and under the sea.
3. Excellent hydraulics performance
The inner surface of fiberglass pipes is very smooth with low friction resistance (n ≤ 0.0084), which can significantly reduce the pressure loss along the way and increase the flow rate. Under the same flow rate, smaller pipe diameters or lower power delivery pumps can be selected, thereby reducing initial investment and energy consumption (reducing operating costs).
4. Good designability and wide applicability
Fiberglass pipes with different pressure levels and special performance can be made by changing the material selection, winding angle, and layer design to meet different working pressure, medium, stiffness (or burial depth) requirements.
5. Anti fouling and non-toxic
The smooth inner wall does not scale or breed microorganisms such as algae, and has no secondary pollution to water quality. Pipelines made of food grade resin can be used to transport drinking water.
6. Few joints and good sealing performance
The length of a single fiberglass pipeline is generally 12 meters, and it is connected with a double "O" type sealing ring socket. Each interface can be tested for pressure, and the sealing is reliable.
7. Lightweight, easy to transport and install
The weight of GRP sand pipe only accounts for 1/4 of the ductile Cast iron pipe with the same specification and length, and 1/10 of the cement pipe. Convenient transportation and loading/unloading, high installation efficiency, and low cost.
3、 Product specifications
(1) Diameter: DN25 mm - DN4000 mm square can be customized.
(2) Pressure rating: 0.25MPa, 0.6MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa, 2.0MPa, 2.5MPa
(3) Single length: 3 meters, 6 meters, 9 meters, and 12 meters. The normal square length is 4 meters
(4) Stiffness level: 2500N/㎡, 5000N/㎡, 10000N/㎡
Note: Other pressure levels, stiffness levels, and length specifications of pipelines can also be produced according to user requirements.
4、 Main raw materials
(1) Resin: Different performance resins can be selected according to different usage requirements
(2) Continuous glass fiber
(3) Quartz sand
(4) Glass fiber felt, etc
(5) UV resistant agents, etc
5、 Main forming process
Our company adopts internationally advanced computer controlled continuous glass fiber winding molding technology, and sequentially produces inner lining layer, inner structural layer, resin mortar layer, outer structural layer, and outer protective layer on the core mold according to the design program. The inner lining layer, inner structural layer, and outer protective layer are heat treated through far-infrared baking plate, and after solidification, water pressure test is carried out according to the standard.
6、 Product inspection standards
Production and acceptance shall comply with AWWA-C950, JC/T838-1998, and CJ/T3079-1998 standards

(2) Sewage collection and transportation pipelines, reclaimed water reuse pipelines
(3) Municipal water supply and drainage pipelines
(4) Seawater delivery pipes and other buried pipelines
(5) Various acidic and alkaline gases, waste gases, wastewater, etc
